Getting There

Travel

Airport
We recommend arriving May 6 for the full Zihuatanejo experience. Fly into Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International (ZIH).

West Coast friends — direct flights available from LAX and SFO.

East Coast friends — you'll likely connect through Mexico City or Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) — both are easy and well-connected to ZIH.

Canadian friends — direct flights available from Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal.
From Airport
It's a quick 20-minute drive from the airport to all three hotels. Taxis are readily available at arrivals — no need to pre-book.
Getting Around
All three hotels have car services available to take you to and from the Thompson for the weekend's events. For those staying at an Airbnb, taxis are plentiful, affordable, and easy to grab throughout town.

* All three hotels are within walking distance of each other on the same beach, Playa La Ropa.

Questions

Frequently Asked

What's the dress code?+

Beach semi-formal for the wedding — think elegant resort wear. Shoes off for the ceremony! Cocktail casual for the welcome dinner. Zihuatanejo is hot so leave the heavy layers at home.

Do I need a passport?+

Yes! Mexico requires a valid passport. Make sure yours doesn't expire within 6 months of your travel dates.

Can I bring a plus one?+

No — we have a set capacity, so please only bring a guest if your invitation says so.

Can I bring my kids?+

This one's for the grown-ups. We've intentionally kept the weekend adults-only so everyone can celebrate freely — we can't wait to party with you.

When should I RSVP by?+

Please RSVP by February 1, 2027 so we can finalize headcount with the venue and caterer.
